Lowongan Kerja Deforestation MRV Internship PT SMART Tbk (SMART)

PT SMART Tbk (Sinarmas Agribusiness and Food) is looking for Deforestation MRV Internship, placement in Cohive, Menteng, Central Jakarta.

Job Summary:

Deforestation MRV to support compliance to policy, regulations and projects needed (government and markets); Monitoring and Reporting for Upstream & Downstream and ensured a proper and reliable verification for deforestation monitoring alerts towards transparent and responsible sourcing.

Job Descriptions:

• To investigate and analyze third party supplier boundaries
• To calculate and analyze comparative %NDV score each cycle
• To develop justification for desktop-based calculation and collect evidence reports
• To recalculate, verify and update final %NDV score according to provided field verification
• To manage database of supply base

Job Requirements:

• Min Diploma or BSc, educational background from a reputable university majoring in Geospatial, Cartography, Geography, Remote Sensing, Geodetics, Forestry
• Additional Preferences:
  • To operate, improve and integrate existing internal deforestation monitoring platform
  • Good knowledge in ArcGIS Enterprise, QuantumGIS, various Forest Baseline, satellite imageries and historical landcover change analysis
  • Programming (Phyton/Javascript/Jscript/VB/HTML/CSS), 
  • Database programming (SQL/MariaDB/Oracle/PHP/MongoDB), 
  • Application (web-app/mobile-app/AI/ML).
  • Wllingness to travel to Upstream & Downstream facilities (remote area)
• Commit to join for 6 months internship duration
•  Available to fully work from the office (WFO)
• Available to join ASAP
